Monique Church

Monique Church is a licensed Mental Health counselor in Texas and Maryland with over 12 years of experience working as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and Qualified Substance Abuse Professional. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and African-American Studies from the University of Virginia and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland-Baltimore with a Clinical concentration and dual specialization in Mental Health and Employee Assistance Programs. Monique has a wide range of expertise, including working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, multi-cultural issues, and substance use disorders. She has also provided support to individuals who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. Monique’s counseling style is warm and interactive, and she believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, without stigmatizing labels. She combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, solution-focused, and motivational counseling approaches to tailor the dialog and treatment plan to meet each client’s unique and specific needs.
