Hello, and welcome! As an experienced mental health counselor, I am here to provide support and encouragement to anyone who is struggling with difficult emotions, stressful life transitions, and/or interpersonal relationship issues. My approach to helping is integrative, person-centered, and strength based, and I have advanced training in trauma, CBT and DBT. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to support many parents and families through difficult times, providing gentle and compassionate parenting guidance. I originally studied nursing and practiced as an RN in the areas of pediatrics and mental health for many years before returning to graduate school to study mental health counseling. I attended Nyack College’s Alliance Graduate School of Counseling, and I’m an LMHC in New York, an LPC in Colorado, and also hold national certification (NCC). I’m excited about offering online counseling and look forward to coming alongside you as you move forward in your life.
