My name is Natasha Moore; I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with over 14 years of experience working in the social work field. I graduated with a Masters of Social Work degree and a certificate in Integrated Mental and Behavioral Health. I have an undergraduate degree in behavioral science with a focus on psychology and sociology. I have a plethora of experience working in different capacities, which helped me grow as a therapist over the past 6 years. My experience includes outpatient therapy, a homeless shelter, in clients’ home, the school settings and telehealth. My passion is to help others overcome adversity by empowering them with the tools they need to be successful in therapy and after. My education and experience focuses on helping survivors of trauma, along with depression, anger management, anxiety, fertility, and improving relationships, parenting, and physical health. I have been praised on my calm demeanor-I am patient, optimistic, warm and open; you will be treated with respect and compassion. My approach combines evidence-based interventions of cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing and solution focused therapy. I truly believe that our thoughts determine how we feel and dictate our behaviors. I look forward to working together to create goals that are achievable and sustainable.
