I enjoy seeing individuals accomplish goals that were previously thought impossible, or unreachable. Most often, being seen, heard, and understood is the beginning of change. I specialize in working with individuals who have struggled with a trauma and/or addiction. A lot of energy is spent wondering who to trust, and if we are ready to invest time into making things better. This is where I can support, through training and therapeutic techniques, your growth and development. Therapy is not a “magic cure”, it is a process. Like most good things in life, it is a process that takes the commitment of all parties involved. The gains in therapy are only as substantial as the effort given forth. I am a Certified Addictions therapist, with certification in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) therapy modality. Currently in process for certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), with ability to practice. Trained in Gestalt Two-Chair Technique. Education and Honors Two masters degrees in Clinical Psychology and Social work.
