Nicole Vicente

My name is Nicole Vicente and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida and Maine. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maine in Clinical Social Work. I have experience working with adults, children, couples and families. I have worked in a variety of practice settings to include community, home, nursing facilities, office, and healthcare environments as well as working with multidisciplinary teams. I have experience working in child welfare, hospice/homecare, geriatrics, memory care, caregiving, and grief/loss. I am a nonjudgmental strengths based social worker who is not afraid to use humor, focus on the reality of the situation, or challenge clients when therapeutically beneficial. I believe people often have the answers and insight they need to make improvements in their quality of life. I start by building rapport and getting to know my clients in order to develop a relationship of trust. I believe understanding my clients personality and history is a fundamental requirement in doing good work. Working with me means collaborating to break down problems/concerns and to develop maintainable goals and problem solving techniques to improve overall life satisfaction.
