I have a passion for providing the utmost quality of services to individuals and families struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. My clinical vision is to โensure I provide a safe atmosphere for clients to experience their vulnerabilities while sharing their stories.โ I have enjoyed a rewarding career working with children, adolescents, and families for many years. I have provided services in the mental health field in multiple capacities including as a community support worker, community based therapist, clinical director and clinical supervisor. Treatment modalities I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, behavior modification and other evidence-based treatments to adult and adolescent clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship problems. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Social Science from the University of Maryland and graduate degree in Social Work from Morgan State University. I am licensed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C) with Clinical Supervision designation.
