Parenting, careers, relationships, the daily ins-and-outs of just being human can sometimes feel overwhelming. No person’s life or story is without challenges and obstacles. I believe the therapy process is an opportunity for individuals to experience personal growth and change. My approach to counseling is to treat each individual with genuine warmth, respect and positive regard. I combine Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused with Mindfulness practices to facilitate a collaborative client/counselor relationship. I pride myself on creating a judgment free environment where people from all walks of life feel safe to discuss personal matters. My passion is cultivating the strengths and resiliency that already exist within a person. I collaborate with each client to identify their specific challenges, values, and healthy strategies to impact their everyday life. I enjoy empowering clients to restructure and reframe their sense of self as well as perspective. I have had the privilege of working with people of all ages from various backgrounds. I truly enjoy collaborating with motivated individuals and I am dedicated to helping others become empowered to accomplish their goals. I have 13 years of experience working in therapeutic settings. In those years, I have worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, communication issues as well as other areas.
