Patricia Corbitt

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience working as a crisis intervention therapist and life coach. I recently completed my dissertation defense in Biblical Leadership (DMin). I have experience in school social work, family counseling, parenting, relationships, including premarital, marriage counseling, and foster care and adoption and career challenges. I have also worked with individuals who have experienced traumatic pasts and emotional abuse. I am very interactive, engaging and warm with my clients, striving to bring out the best in them. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychotherapy, and psycho-dynamic therapy . My goal is to meet your needs therefore, I encourage you to be involved in what you want the outcome to be. It takes time to build a rapport with someone you do not know therefore, we will get to know one another and build that trust bond.
