ABOUT ME Welcome! My name is Patricia and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. As an experienced mental health counselor with 17+ years, I am here to provide support and encouragement to anyone struggling with difficult emotions, stressful life transitions, and/or interpersonal relationship issues. My counseling approach is warm, interactive, and person-centered; using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. In addition, my clinical approaches include Mindfulness and Solution-focused. I have the most experience working with clients of all ages in transitions, self-esteem, adult ADHD and substance use disorders. I believe the therapeutic relationship is essential and I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, and the grace of doing the best you could with the tools you have. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to support many clients and families through difficult times, providing gentle and compassionate guidance.
