Dr. Randall Maurer

Dr. Randall Maurer is a highly experienced and well-trained therapist with a diverse background. Holding a PhD in Counseling Psychology and licensed as a marriage and family therapist, Dr. Maurer has been actively involved in training therapists and counselors for the past thirty years. With additional seminary training and years of experience in ministry and training ministers, he is uniquely equipped to address both psychological and spiritual issues if desired by his clients. Dr. Maurer has worked in various settings including private practices, agencies, and in-patient psychiatric hospitals. His primary focus is to assist individuals in making desired changes in a psychologically and relationally healthy manner. He is committed to maintaining an unbiased approach and will never impose religious beliefs on anyone, as it goes against his professional ethics. Dr. Maurer derives great satisfaction from helping individuals tap into their existing strengths and resources to bring about positive changes in their lives. He employs a solution-focused and strategic approach, empowering clients to discover or create their own solutions and develop a plan to implement them. Dr. Maurer provides a warm, supportive, and encouraging environment throughout the counseling process.
