Raquel Manning

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over 6 years of clinical experience. I have also worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, adjustment to life changes and grief/loss, substance abuse and anger management. My specialty has been working with adolescents and adults battling depression and anxiety as a result of a history or trauma and abuse. My counseling style is warm, relaxed and approachable. I believe everyone comes with unique experiences so I am very client-focused. I believe in treating each individual with the same level of respect, compassion, patience, and sensitivity. My therapeutic background combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, client-focused, and trauma-focused techniques. I truly believe that rapport and therapeutic relationships are extremely important for therapy to be successful, therefore we will take some time to make sure I am the right fit for you and I will never be offended if you feel you need a different approach. It takes courage to take the steps to start counseling and I will honor and respect your journey through this season of life.
