Hey you! Welcome! I am so incredibly proud of you for taking the first step in regaining control over your life! Life can be a very tricky journey; sometimes you just feel stuck! Please know this; know that you are not alone! We are all still learning, are all still growing, and are all constantly trying to figure it all out! Sometimes, someone who is not in our immediate circle can offer a perspective or additional support that provides just the right amount of push, motivation, and direction to give us movement on a difficult situation. Pick me! I’m that person! Lol! Since you’ve made it this far, I’m sure you’re wondering how this all works and whether this is even the right fit for you so I’ll do my best to try to explain it all! My name is Neisha and my parents did not follow the I before E except after C rule! Haha! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Autism Specialist. I have 10 years of experience in this field, but I won’t bore you with all of my accolades because the focus is you. I’m here for YOU! To me, the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. The comfort and connection that one feels with the person they choose to share their personal struggles with is super important! Being vulnerable is tough and I place tremendous value on the fact that people trust me in their most vulnerable state. My approach to therapy is quite simple- WE ARE A TEAM! I am not a dictator and will not pretend to know what’s best for your life. YOU are the expert on your life so YOU will be the leader of this journey! I will simply help and guide you in the right direction and offer a different perspective as well as extra support when you feel stuck. I am extremely open-minded and will provide you with a judgment free zone and safe space to share your feelings. And although I won’t judge, I will be completely honest, direct, and call you out on your crap if I need too! I mean, what’s the point of therapy if I’m not honest with you?!
