About Robert Wood's service

Robert Wood, a highly experienced therapist, welcomes you to his page with open arms. With over two decades of professional experience, Robert began his career as a Director of Religious Education for the US Army Chaplains Corp after completing his Master of Divinity degree. Throughout his years of service, Robert noticed a growing trend of people feeling increasingly isolated and struggling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, Autism, Narcissists, and relationship challenges. Motivated to make a bigger impact, he pursued a Master of Arts in Counseling and started leading a men’s mental health group as a volunteer for a local church. Recognizing the need for empathetic support and guidance, Robert firmly believes that humans are inherently imperfect and shaped by imperfect upbringing. He understands that we all carry wounds from our past, developed unhealthy coping mechanisms, and learned behaviors that hinder our personal growth and relationships. Robert’s primary objective is to equip individuals with the necessary tools to lead productive lives. Taking a holistic approach, he acknowledges the interconnectedness of our body, spirit, and soul (mind-will-emotions). By utilizing a range of tailored treatment modalities, Robert ensures that each client receives the most effective interventions for their unique needs. He has received extensive training in marriage
