Sam Callaway

Sam Callaway is a highly experienced therapist with over 40 years of counseling expertise. He began his career in the church setting and later became a licensed professional counselor 17 years ago to specialize in specific types of counseling. For the past fifteen years, Sam has dedicated his practice to handling Child Protective Services cases, focusing on family dysfunction, addiction, and various forms of abuse. In addition, he continues to offer religious counseling to individuals searching for spiritual meaning in life. With undergraduate and graduate degrees in theology, as well as a professional counseling degree in psychology, Sam brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to his therapeutic approach. Having served as a senior pastor of an evangelical church for over four decades, he has witnessed both the best and worst in people, including himself. Sam firmly believes that every individual possesses a positive and successful self, and he is committed to helping his clients discover and nurture that inner person. In his practice, Sam utilizes a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and Rogerian therapy, drawing from the belief that all individuals deserve to be treated with respect and compassion.
