I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with 5 years of experience. I have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have worked in a crisis unit, shelter, domestic violence center, and dual diagnosis center helping individuals with both substance abuse and mental health diagnoses. I have helped individuals struggling with a wide range of concerns. Although I may use different approaches and techniques with each client depending on their specific needs, I am a client-centered therapist at the core. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of successful therapy. I also believe that the client should be involved in the development of a treatment plan.
