Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with 6 years of clinical experience. I have worked with children, adults, families, and couples in various treatment settings. I am open to working with both men and women, young, middle age and older adults, and people of all gender, race, and sexual orientations. My areas of specialization and interest include juvenile justice, parent-child relationship challenges, managing anxiety and depression, life transitions, family stressors, self-worth, and trauma. My counseling style is warm and approachable. I believe in treating everyone with integrity and compassion. My therapeutic background includes but is not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, mindfulness and empowerment, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and trauma informed practices. I am trained in trust based relational interventions (TBRI) and I am a nationally certified Functional Family Therapist (FFT). I will meet you where you are at on your journey and use your natural strengths to guide your therapeutic process. There may be times of discomfort, joy, sadness, excitement, setbacks, breakthroughs, and everything in between- this is where growth happens.
