Sarah Brown is a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with a wealth of experience in addiction and trauma counseling. With a person-centered and solution-focused approach, Sarah believes in empowering her clients to take control of their lives and navigate through life’s challenges. Drawing from her expertise in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), she provides effective support and equips her clients with the necessary skills to overcome obstacles. Sarah’s dedication to her clients is evident in her diverse background, which includes working in adult and juvenile criminal justice institutions, adult residential centers, and running an addiction recovery program in a homeless shelter for women and children. She has also collaborated with the family and criminal court systems to assist individuals on their unique recovery journey. Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Studies in 2008 and went on to complete her Masters of Arts in Integrated Recovery and Co-Occurring Disorders in 2018. With a deep sense of gratitude, Sarah considers it an honor to be a part of her clients’ journeys and is committed to providing the highest level of care and support.
