Hello! My name is Sarah Veale and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee. My career has spanned twenty years in three states. I have considerable experience working with a variety of populations in various care settings from inpatient to residential wards of the state, juvenile detention, outpatient private practice and at a managed care company. This experience spans children, adolescents, and adults with symptoms associated with mood and anxiety disorders, dual diagnosis substance abuse, developmental delays, family conflict, self-esteem issues, self-injury, histories of abuse and neglect, and personality disorders. My philosophy is to partner with you to help you improve your emotional health. I will guide, train, and confirm that you practice your skills from therapy to achieve improved emotional health. In relation to most problems, I believe that time, information, and education foster understanding and acceptance. Whether this applies to you or to those that matter most to you, this is essential to consider when change is desired. We will work together to help you to enhance your understanding and ability to cope with problems and bring about change. My schedule is fairly open and flexible so I am able schedule sessions outside of my viewable schedule. I will be checking my messages a couple of times per day, Sunday through Friday, and will strive to contact you within 24 hours of your messages. Thank you for choosing me and I look forward to working with you.
