Shalonda Scott

Shalonda Scott is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Discovering Hope Counseling Services. With a passion for therapy, she strives to make it accessible to as many people as possible. Shalonda believes that everyone deserves a safe place and a listening ear, and she is dedicated to providing that support. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2014 and her master’s degree in mental health from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2015. With a focus on life changes, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress management, Shalonda utilizes various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. She takes a strengths-based approach, helping individuals identify and overcome any obstacles that may be hindering their personal growth.
