Sharie Scott, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), has an impressive background that includes 22 years of service in the U.S. Navy. During her military career, she gained extensive experience working with sailors who faced challenges such as addictions, depression, and trauma. Building on her military experience, Sharie has spent the last 10 years providing community counseling, where she has witnessed the devastating struggles individuals can encounter. Her passion lies in helping individuals heal and thrive, enabling them to reach their highest potential. Sharie’s theoretical orientation is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Theory (CBT) and Solution-Focused Based Therapy (SFBT), both of which emphasize empowering individuals to find solutions and improve their quality of life. Recognizing the complexity of the human mind, Sharie also incorporates an eclectic approach that integrates other therapeutic methods as needed. Her mission is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where individuals can heal and grow.
