About Sharon Calhoun's service

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed by the state of Michigan. I have over 35 years of experience counseling clients, with depression, anxiety, addiction, lifestyle adjustments, trauma, and grief/loss. I have worked in Community Mental Health, Outpatient Therapy, Residential Addiction Treatment and in a Maximum Security Prison. Also, I have worked as an Adjunct College Professor. As a therapist, I value being emphatic, attentive, and respectful to all races, religions, and sexual orientations. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I value being an attentive and active listener. My approach primarily utilizes Person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. Warm Regards, Sharon
