Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is following my passion for service. That energy led me to Colorado Christian University for a master’s degree that is rooted in love, spiritual and theological foundations. I am a real person with real flaws who is moving forward and looking to help others. It is not about being perfect but managing to find and work with the authentic you for healthier and balanced living. Let’s take the stigma out of mental health and get the help we need. I provide an integrative approach to counseling with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral, solution-focused, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is also a part of the process. I have experience serving adults and adolescents suffering from anxiety, stress, depression, family conflict, trauma, grief, loss, substance use, women’s issues, parenting problems, behavior disorders, emotion dysregulation (anger management), work/life balance and cultural challenges.
