Shauna Pichette

Hello, my name is Shauna Pichette, and I graduated in 2015 with a master’s degree in counseling psychology. I am fully licensed in the state of WI. Since this time, I have had a variety of experiences with different groups and specialties in different states. I have worked in acute care, residential, and outpatient levels of care. My primary approach for treatment is CBT, which includes DBT, ERP, and TF-CBT. I consider myself to be an ally for minorities and LGBTQIA individuals. My specialties consist of life transitions, stress, anxiety, excoriation/trichotillomania, OCD, panic disorder, and depression. My clinical framework is CBT, but my interpersonal approach is to be warm and candid. I believe everyone’s experience is valid. My goal is not to blame or shame, but rather to support you in understanding your own behavior and motives and find the strength to change within yourself. I believe in transparency as well. Although I am the counseling professional, you are the professional on yourself. My goal is to help you tap into that and give you the tools to succeed.
