Shayla Chase

Hello, my name is Shayla Chase and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I’m excited that you’re here. My goal is to provide you with the highest quality of services in a way that is client-centered, supportive and evidence based. My counseling style is inviting, encouraging and non-judgmental as I believe that establishing a genuine client-therapist relationship improves the effectiveness of therapy. Taking the steps towards creating change can be difficult but with commitment and patience noticeable changes will begin to occur. I have five years+ (and counting) of experience providing mental health services to a variety of populations. I have worked with various client populations including children & teens, adults, couples and families. I have served clients with a wide range of concerns including grief & loss, depression, anxiety, stress, cognitive changes, work/life balance, self-esteem & confidence, family dynamics, and military life stressors. My counseling approach is engaging, strengths-based and collaborative through a combination of Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral therapies. As the therapist I will assist my clients with developing a vision of their desired future and offering support as they determine the skills, resources, and abilities needed to achieve that vision successfully. Deciding to begin therapy can be emotionally overwhelming and I am here to empower you through every step of the way. It takes courage to embark on these next steps and I truly value the time and effort my clients dedicate towards personal development to be their best selves.
