Hello! I’m Shaylon Jackson. Thank you for being here! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing counseling services to individuals and families in the state of Georgia. I pride myself in creating a warm and positive atmosphere in which clients can feel safe and can express themselves freely. I have experience working with a variety of mental health disorders including: Substance Use Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Mood Disorder and more. I also have experience in facilitating psychoeducation groups including: Anger Management, Domestic Violence, Early Recovery Skills, Relapse Prevention, Parenting and Life Skills for Adults, Teens and Adolescents. I bring a unique and valuable experience to my practice. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities to guide you down the road that produces positive outcomes, healing and self-discovery. I believe seeking counseling is an opportunity for growth and demonstrates a true sign of strength. I wholeheartedly believe in the notion of “before a solution can be discovered, the root must be identified”. Therefore, I strive to help my clients identify what’s beneath the surface to better understand what’s happening above the surface. I value quality over quantity. Therefore, I only schedule a limited number of sessions per week so that I can focus on each client’s unique needs and be present with them in the session. I look forward to working with you.
