Shelley Sargent

Shelley Sargent is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Nevada and Texas, as well as a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas. With over 12 years of experience, Shelley has worked with a diverse range of clients in various settings such as private practice, schools, inpatient treatment centers, and military bases. Specializing in anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addiction, and coping, Shelley holds two master’s degrees, one in counseling psychology and one in religious studies from Southern CA Seminary. In her counseling approach, Shelley aims to collaborate with her clients to identify what is working and what needs to change. By providing support and guidance, she helps clients create a plan for making those changes. Known for her warm, empathetic, and direct style, Shelley firmly believes in her clients’ ability to create the life they desire. She utilizes a range of interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs, as she understands that counseling is not a one-size-fits-all approach.
