Dr. Sherilyn Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas, with over 17 years of experience in Counseling. She holds a Doctoral degree in Pastoral Community Counseling from Argosy University, specializing in Pastoral Counseling. Dr. Allen prioritizes creating a safe and trusting therapeutic experience for her clients, with the goal of helping them achieve wholeness through healing in all aspects of their lives. She believes in promoting a counseling environment that is characterized by compassion, empathy, and support. Dr. Allen takes an integrative approach to treatment, tailoring her therapeutic modalities to each unique situation. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Pastoral Counseling, either individually or in combination, to provide the most effective treatment plan for her clients.
