I view counseling as an interactive process where we discuss your concerns, in a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere. I am compassionate about counseling and I look forward to helping you work through your concerns to reach your maximum potential. I would like to help you in areas that include: parenting, relationships, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, and women’s issues. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have more than 10 years of counseling experience, working with adolescents and adults. This experience allows me to walk through the journey of change with each client in an empathetic, compassionate and understanding manner. My techniques are flexible for each individual as I use a gamut of interventions. My theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapy. My strength is helping you believe in yourself and developing positive thinking patterns to help you find solutions. My role as a counselor is to be available and to provide a space that will allow you, the client, to grow and to make your desired changes using appropriate interventions to live your best life.
