My name is Sierra and I am the founder of Power Love Self-Control Counseling (PLS Counseling) and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I work with those of us that struggle with personal issues of our daily lives and I have specifically worked with individuals dealing with severe mental illness. I received my BA in Psychology from Kent State University in 2014. From there I completed my MA in Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in 2019. My approach to working with you is to ensure you are making the decisions each step of the way. I will work with you to achieve the goals you set in therapy. We can all use someone to talk to when things are going great but also when we need a little bit more support. Daily life can be stressful enough, it’s good to know someone is there to listen to your concerns, share in your success, and provide a safe space to explore your specific situation. In our first session we will get to know one another. I’ll ask you questions to understand your expectations for therapy. I’ll provide more information about myself and answer questions you may have about the process. Follow up sessions will be your time to discuss any issues or concerns and ways to overcome barriers to your success in therapy.
