Sophie Loewengart

Sophie Loewengart is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Colorado with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. With over 7 years of experience in the counseling field, Sophie has worked extensively with children, families, and adult individuals. She specializes in addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, relationships, and trauma. Sophie’s therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). She believes that the therapeutic relationship is essential and prioritizes creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients. Sophie takes a collaborative and strengths-based approach, empowering her clients to tap into their own abilities and find the answers they seek. Outside of her work, Sophie enjoys road cycling, exploring Austin’s culinary scene, spending time with loved ones, and traveling.
