Susana Deltoro

Susana Deltoro is a Bilingual English/Spanish Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong dedication to delivering high-quality services. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest. During her graduate internship at Santa Maria Hostel in Houston, Texas, Susana focused on Co-occurring disorders in Women and Families. She facilitated group therapy at both the intensive and outpatient levels, providing support to clients and their families who were dealing with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Susana utilizes various therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Theory. Guided by a holistic, strength-based, person-centered approach, she aims to make a positive difference in the lives of others. As Gordon B. Hinckley once said, “Being humble is recognizing that we are not on earth to see how important we can become but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others.”
