Susanne Sanders

I am a licensed professional counselor with 15 years of experience, licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. I have a master’s degree in Community Counseling from Clemson University and am also a certified school counselor. I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, corrections, private practice and schools with individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety and addiction. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and see this relationship as one based on compassion and unconditional acceptance. My therapeutic style combines interpersonal and cognitive behavioral approaches, but I believe in tailoring treatment to meet the needs of the individual, so that your therapy is specific to your process.
