Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Oregon, and I have over 12 years of experience working with individuals dealing with mental illness. I have worked both in private practice and in an acute care psychiatric hospital providing individual, group, and family therapy. I am comfortable treating all mental health issues, including helping those in crisis, and I have extensive experience working with individuals dealing with self-injury, anxiety/depression, pre and postpartum depression, and PTSD, and abuse issues. My philosophy in working with all clients is to provide the best well-rounded care while focusing and building upon the strengths of the individual so that healthy coping patterns can be developed. As a therapist, I strive to cultivate trusting and meaningful relationships in which my clients find the comfort they need to explore difficult issues and emotions. I am passionate about empowering my clients and leading them through a journey of self-discovery to assist them in arriving at new insights and realizations. My approach is warm and supportive and I combine cognitive-behavioral, person centered, and dialectal behavioral counseling into my sessions.
