I know that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already struggling and in need of support. I believe that feeling seen and heard can serve as a powerfully reparative experience, especially in a space of non-judgment and acceptance. I am honored and committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment to help clients connect with themselves in an emotionally vulnerable, safe, and self-compassionate way. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, utilizing a neuro-biologically focused approach that restores the authentic-self with self-regulation, wholeness, and a feeling of aliveness. Somatic Experiencing supports discharging fight/flight/freeze response that becomes physically trapped in the nervous system and body tissue. I provide individual, group, marriage, and family therapy to children and adults struggling with attachment trauma, grief, displacement/migration, eating disorders, codependency, addictions, and PTSD. I’m trained in EMDR, Creative Arts Therapy, Sound Healing, Jungian Theory, and Self-Compassion. I tailor to the needs and preferences of my clients to provide a space that nurtures safety, support, trust, and a capacity for emotional intimacy and vulnerability. Play and curiosity are at the heart of what I do and believe therapy can be an enjoyable process.
