Tara Riverso

I am licensed in New Jersey with over 15 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I also have experience working with depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Personal healing is just that, it’s personal and everyone heals differently and at different rates. The way we talk to ourselves is important and I would love to help you have a better relationship with yourself. I am a very down to earth person and will use my own real life experiences in sessions when appropriate. I am a realistic person and use humor in my sessions as well. Our bodies are our best guide map and will teach you how to tune into your body to get the answers that you need. We usually have all the answers, we just don’t always know how to access them or trust that they are “right”. I have a holistic approach and may use techniques such as tapping to assist with releasing stress and trauma from the body. I also will suggest journaling and meditation activities outside of sessions to help clients get the full benefit from what we discuss.
