My name is Tara Trammell. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina with 17+ years of experience working as a Therapist with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health . I am a wife, mother and soon-to-be grandmother. I work with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, stress and ADHD. In addition, I have helped many people who have experienced physical trauma and emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, and person-centered therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you! Should you feel in need of urgent help or that you are in crisis at any time during our work together; please call 1-800-273-TALK 24 hours a day; or 911. This forum does not provide any type of emergency services, so I want to be sure you know who to contact if you need immediate help.
