Telecia Rittiman

Telecia Rittiman is an experienced and compassionate therapist who is dedicated to helping individuals and couples achieve their goals. With over 20 years of experience in private practice, Telecia understands the importance of respect, acceptance, and openness in therapy. She believes that therapy is a partnership, where both the client’s ideas and contributions are integral to achieving success. Telecia has a strong background in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with a particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she was published in the Journal of Applied Social Psychology for her research in AIDS. In 1997, Telecia earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston. Throughout her career, she has received specialized training in areas such as Grief and Bereavement Therapy, Stress Management, Anger Management, Mediation, Couples Counseling, Addictions, Setting Goals, End of Life Therapy, and Adjustment Issues.
