I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida with over 10 years of experience working in the Mental Health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem/self-confidence, parenting problems, post-partum anxiety, coping with life changes, trauma, and abuse. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families – adolescents and adults. Whether your concerns are mild or major, therapy can help you navigate and cope better. I will work with you to identify the sources of stress in your life and can help you build healthy coping strategies. A good rapport is paramount for a successful therapeutic relationship; therefore, my therapy style is empathic and with that, I feel I’m a strong communicator, excellent listener, trustworthy, open/transparent, non-judgmental, and optimistic. Since every person’s journey is different, my approach is more of an eclectic approach; I may use a cognitive behavior technique to address one area of concern, and then use a client-centered or a solution technique to address another area of concern. I will tailor your treatment based on your unique circumstances utilizing techniques from different approaches that would be most beneficial to you. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
