Terry Wester

Terry Wester is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas with a strong background in the business world. Having worked as an employee and later as a supervisor in various large and small companies, Terry’s experience in leadership roles prepared her to pursue a career in counseling. With seven years of experience working in a community health clinic, Terry has assisted patients dealing with chronic pain, various health issues, as well as feelings, thoughts, and habits of behavior that they sought help in addressing. During her time at the clinic, Terry also taught classes in Weight Management and Smoking Cessation. For the past two years, Terry has been running her private practice, working with individuals facing a wide range of concerns and mental health issues such as PTSD, Panic Disorders, trauma/abuse, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and life changes. Terry believes in using a neuro-cognitive approach, leveraging the latest research in neuroscience to help clients rewire their brain patterns without having to relive painful past experiences.
