Hello! My name is Tiffany and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Kentucky with over six years of experience providing counseling services. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including; inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, long-term inpatient substance abuse centers, and intensive outpatient programs. I have experience working with clients affected by depression, anxiety, substance use, co-dependency, dual diagnosis, and relationship challenges. I am native to Western Kentucky. I earned my undergraduate degree in Family & Consumer Sciences from the University of Kentucky and my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Western Kentucky University. My approach to therapy is client-centered. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives making therapy more meaningful and successful when they decide the direction they would like to go and goals they would like to accomplish. Working through a solution-focused lens clients are helped to identifying meaningful goals and develop treatment plans. Through the use of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) clients are encouraged to challenge negative thoughts in order to improve their emotions and develop positive coping skills. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
