Tinisha Samuel is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with over 6 years of counseling experience. She has worked with clients facing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, anger management, relationship challenges, career obstacles, and life transitions. Tinisha has also served as an Advocate and Counselor for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Her specialization in Rehabilitation Counseling enables her to work effectively with individuals with various disabilities, both physical and mental. Tinisha’s counseling style is characterized by building a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship, creating a safe space for clients to be open and authentic without fear of judgment. She believes that clients are the experts in their own lives and follows their lead throughout the session, providing support, empathy, and compassion. While Tinisha primarily uses Person-Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches, she tailors sessions and treatment plans to meet each client’s unique needs. Tinisha has always had a passion for helping others and feels grateful to fulfill that goal through her work as a Counselor.
