Torrenzo Moore

Torrenzo Moore is a Licensed Professional Counselor who understands the importance of exploring one’s own story. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southern University and A&M College-Baton Rouge, LA, a Masters degree in History and African American studies from Florida A&M University, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, Torrenzo is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University. With a background as a high school and college counselor, Torrenzo has a wealth of experience working with families and young adults. Using a theoretical orientation that includes cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered theory, and solution-focused brief therapy, Torrenzo believes in creating a safe environment and building a strong therapeutic relationship to empower clients to make positive life changes and achieve a healthy balance in all aspects of their lives.
