Welcome; I’m glad you are here! I obtained my Masters of Social Work from Florida State University. I am a clinical social worker licensed in Indiana and Michigan with over a decade of experience working in various treatment settings. Most of my career I have worked with at risk youth populations including those involved in the child welfare, foster care and juvenile justice systems. My experience encompasses working with clients presenting with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, family conflict, developmental trauma, and individuals who have experienced sexual trauma and/or abuse. My therapy style is direct, warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. To me, therapy is a partnership. My approach combines attachment theory, trauma-informed, strengths-based, culturally sensitive and client-centered therapy. In addition, I have also completed training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy). I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you in this next endeavor. I look forward to working with you!
