Tyler Atkinson is a licensed therapist in Texas with 4 years of professional work experience. He specializes in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, as well as coping with life changes. Over the past two and a half years, Tyler has focused on the hospice field, working with patients, their caregivers, and families to adapt, grow, and find meaning while being affected by illness and disease. He has also provided bereavement counseling and outreach services to families who have lost loved ones. Tyler believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and he strives to treat the whole person, recognizing that our goals to live happy and productive lives include developing our mind, body, spirit, and relationships. In his counseling practice, Tyler utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to guide his clients towards obtaining their goals. He is dedicated to tailoring the dialog and treatment plan to meet each client’s unique and specific needs.
