About Vanessa Soto's service

Hello. My name is Vanessa and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a dual master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and family therapy from Barry University. I graduated in 1999 and obtained my license in 2003. I strive to create a warm, energetic and non-judgmental environment that helps you feel comfortable so we can work together to build a strong therapeutic relationship and succeed in completing your life’s goals. My approach to psychotherapy and career/life coaching is from a holistic perspective. Achieving life balance is paramount to a healthy and congruent life. My techniques vary and are tailored specifically to you. I primarily use techniques based on cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. In psychotherapy, we will focus on your identified problem areas and concerns and work to create the solutions you want in your life. Thank you for looking at my page.
