Hello!!! I am thrilled you have taken the time out to read my bio! It means so much! Therapy is a tool I believe can be an asset to everyone! I am Vanisha Young! A Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker, Licensed in the State of Michigan. I have supported clients with difficulties such as: Crisis, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Self-esteem Issues. I utilize a Person-In- Environment approach to understand client situations, and Strength- based perspectives to help clients see they have the capacity to change the outcome of their situations. My Favorite quote that I live by is: “People do not care how much you know; until they know how much you care”. -Theodore Roosevelt I desire to connect with clients on an individual basis and develop a relationship that is authentic.
