Vonetta Blakely

Welcome! I am a Master’s, level, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina with over 10 years of experience working with clients across the lifespan and their families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including Autism, intellectual disabilities, developmental differences, anxiety, parenting concerns, health and end-of-life concerns as well as visual impairments. I am also an Ally of the LGBTQ+ population. My counseling style is warm, open and interactive. I believe in the ethical treatment of each individual while providing every person I work with the highest level respect, empathy, sensitivity, and compassion. Inclusion is of utmost importance, and I aim to provide an empowering, safe space for each person to grow in their personal journey. My therapeutic approach adheres to a cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and strengths based focus. Based on my experience working with individuals with Autism, I will work with each person to incorporate structured activities and visual tools if needed to help make intervention as successful as possible on the path to personal growth.
