Our lives are filled with demands, pressure and stress with challenging people and challenging circumstances often making peace difficult to find and life difficult to balance. Our experiences and life circumstances shapes us into who we are and how we view the world. In this world, in humanity, and in therapy, there is no one-fits-all approach. You are an individual and an expert in your life, your therapy must reflect that and fit you specifically. In this process, it is important you feel safe, comfortable and connected with the person you choose to share your experiences, challenges, and victories. It is also important to have a person who is non-judgmental, open-minded, and accepting when you are seeking support. I would like to be that person for you. My name is Wendy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia. In 2014, I received my Masters in Social Work at Florida State University. When I stepped into my clinical career it began in virtual therapy and I’ve continued delivering services virtually in addition to in-person for 6 years. I have worked with a variety of populations: military veterans/service members, first responders, military caregivers, LGBTQ+, individuals in crisis, individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, mood cycling, addiction, trauma, all types of abuse, difficulty in adjusting, grief/loss, insomnia, and relationship challenges. I have experience in working with individuals, couples, and families. I offer an integrated approach drawing from many sources including person-centered, cognitive, behavioral, and interpersonal techniques. We start where you are and work towards the goals you want to achieve in your journey to wellness. I look forward to working with you!
