Wilfred Manyango is a licensed professional counselor/therapist (LPC) in the state of Texas with over 6 years of experience providing clinical mental health assistance to diverse groups of individuals and ethnicities. In addition, he has worked for over 10 years as an academic/success coach, offering educational and career guidance. Wilfred’s counseling philosophy centers around building a meaningful therapist-client relationship based on mutual trust and acceptance. He has worked with individuals from various backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, marriage and family issues, infidelity, infertility, trauma, domestic violence and abuse, violence from conflict zones, unforgiveness, shame and guilt, crisis of religious faith, anger management, career and academic challenges, coping with life changes, and work-related issues, among others. While his primary therapeutic orientations are cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused, and choice theories, Wilfred is skilled in integrating other theories as needed. He believes that life’s challenges should not be faced alone and is committed to being the person who listens and provides the necessary assistance to help clients navigate their struggles and live fulfilling lives.
