I am a licensed professional counselor in Tennessee with over 5 years of experience working as a counselor that caters to elementary aged-children, teens, adults, and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, family dynamic concerns, relationship issues, parental issues, impulsivity, hyperactivity, difficulties with managing strong emotions and situations. I have also helped those that have been through traumatic and stressful experiences. My counseling style is very warm, understanding, supportive, and interactive. With children, I am also very animated and playful. I believe in mutual respect and showing compassion and empathy to others. My approach tends to be a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as Solutions-Focused Therapy. Client experiences and treatment planning will be tailored to each individual client and their specific needs. The first step towards healing and balance is to seek help. The first step can be the hardest step and if you are finding yourself reading this profile, you have taken the hardest step that takes strength and courage. If you are ready to go through your journey of healing and balance, I am here to support you and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
